However, a second home is an excellent candidate for short sale if it meets the criteria I specified in my post. One thing you will probably have to prove: that your primary residence doesn't have enough equity to bail out your second home--for example, if there is equity you could get a second mortgage against your primary home to make up the deficiency on the second home.</description>
